Delvina Miremadi-Baldino, PhD

Executive Director

Dr. Miremadi-Baldino has dedicated her career to the intersection of education, psychology, and resilience. Her previous expertise as MRBN’s Deputy Director and nearly twenty-year history of working across education, healthcare, for-profit and non- profit sectors have distinguished her as a recognized leader and behavioral health change agent. She brings the unique skills of translating research, program development and a deep understanding of how to weave health equity into the fabric of Maine, empowering every individual, family, and community to flourish.

Under Dr. Miremadi-Baldino’s leadership, MyT champions innovative strategies that foster resilience and support mental health across the lifespan. Through her commitment to promoting the science of the positive, cultivating youth mattering, and building thriving communities, MyT advances a preventative approach to ensure a thriving future for all.

Meg LeMay, PhD

Director of Education & Engagement

Dr. LeMay is a values-driven, community-centered leader in education with fifteen years of experience as a professor, director, facilitator, and community mobilizer. Her career has been defined by her record of helping complex institutions and cross-sectoral partners build innovative and trauma-informed programs that transform knowledge into embodied practice and lived experience into collective wisdom.

An award-winning educator with rich experience in prevention and coalition building, Dr. LeMay brings with her a holistic toolkit for cultivating social connectedness and a nuanced understanding of what makes intergenerational environments happier, healthier, and more just. Central to her approach is a commitment to joy. She is invested in empowering people of all ages to see themselves as hope holders and worldbuilders.

Julie Schmidt

Programs Manager

Julie brings over 25 years of experience in public education as a teacher, instructional coach, and social-emotional learning (SEL) specialist. As Programs Manager at MyT, Julia leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of impactful educational training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions.

Her work is ground in expertise in SEL, trauma-informed practices, and resilience-building. She is deeply passionate about cultivating environments where youth feel that they truly matter – not just that they belong, but that their presence, voice, and contributions make a meaningful difference. Most recently, Julie served as a social-emotional coach for grades pre-K through 6; she is the proud recipient of the University of Maine’s Pulp and Paper Teacher of the Year Award and the Patience Norman Award for Outstanding Teaching.

verónica pérez

Administrative Assistant

verónica (they/them) is an administrative assistant, writer, and community artist exploring erasure, identity, and interdependency through sculptural community-driven braiding circles workshops. pérez earned a BFA from Moore College of Art & Design (2014) and an MFA from Maine College of Art (2016). They received the Ellis-Beauregard Visual Arts Fellowship (2020) and fellowships at Indigo Arts Alliance (2021) and the Lunder Institute at Colby College (2022). Named a 2024 Maine Artist Fellow, they work at Indigo Arts Alliance, serve on the board of the Southern Maine Workers’ Center political action committee, and co-organize Tender Table.

Erin Griffin

Marketing & Communications

Erin has over 25 years of experience working in communications. She enjoys peering through her creative and editorial lenses equally.

Erin is happiest when working with organizations that align with her values, making MRBN the perfect fit.

When she isn’t working, she is making art, reading books, growing food, and, most importantly, making her 11-year-old laugh.

Elaine Theriault-Currier

Grants & Communications

Elaine supports Maine non-profit organizations in shaping their stories into compelling narratives that attract funding to advance their missions. With a passion for community and youth development, Elaine leverages her first-hand experience working in youth-serving organizations to craft proposals that highlight MyT’s evidence-based approach and capacity to address large-scale challenges.

Elaine earned her MBA in Non-profit Management from Brandeis University and since has honed her grant-writing, website development, and copy-writing expertise working with several organizations who share a vision of a thriving Maine.

Jessica Casey

Fundraising & Event Planning

Jessica has a passion for community outreach, event planning, marketing, and talent acquisition. She has a proven track record in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors, leading impactful fundraising initiatives for local and global causes, including raising over $100K for Maine Cancer Foundation (making her the top fundraiser of all time!) and setting fundraising records for BEAD FOR LIFE.

Jessica is the co-founder and Community Outreach Director of In This Together, and she owns Two Hawks Event Planning & Design and uses her 20+ years of event experience to oversee various event types from conception to execution. She has a passion for helping non-profits host successful events, increase their fundraising goals, and make new connections. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and Sociology from Wheaton College and a certification in Wellness Counseling and Nutrition from eCornell.
