Addressing Compassion Fatigue and Resilience Strategies in Educators and Caregivers

Join this FREE training to explore the impact of stress on adults caring for children. Learn how to prevent and address compassion fatigue by developing strategies that promote resilience and reconnect you with the joy of being a caring adult.

In partnership with Maine DOE and the Office of Family and Child Services, Maine Youth Thriving is pleased to offer this training for RSU 57. Designed for early childhood educators and those serving youth ages 0-8, this event is open to caregivers and community members in the RSU57 region interested in learning how they can build the resilience of children and themselves as caring adults. Credit Hours provided.

RSU 57 will provide pizza, cookies, water, and coffee/tea for those interested. Please reach out to theodoredalton@rsu57.org if childcare is a barrier.

Note on location: East Building on the Massabesic High School campus at 84 West Road, Waterboro. Maine 04087. The East building is located farthest to the left when turning into the campus. Once you are parked please enter through the main entrance and we’ll be there to greet you.
